This involved the use of germs killing surface coating based on Titanium Dioxide and Silver Nanoparticles well known to help surfaces self-clean and fight the spread of diseases through cross contamination on frequently touched surfaces.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

The company has a decade experience in the cleaning industry. We offer in-house training to our staff on our premises and also on client sites. Most of our staff have a minimum of 2 years experience in cleaning services and also in other industries such as construction...

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Anything to do with property, whether it is indoor or outdoor cleaning, we have cleaning teams with skills for it.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Our services are charged on the basis of cost of material, labour and logistics. The material cost is determined by the scope of work and clients preferences. Sometimes two properties can have the same size but with a different floors, walls or surface coating. For instance, a 50sqm apartment with dirty carpet will require a carpet valet service which is more expensive than the same property with tiles or laminate floors. Sweeping and mopping will not cost the same as a carpet valet service. In a nutshell, there is no one size fits all principle here.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We have specialized software developed in the USA that offers us 3 to 4 pricing models. Out of all the pricing models, we choose the one that is more in line with the market we are in. We value and respect the work done by our cleaners and will not pay them below minimum wage. We appreciate clients who understand that concept and will happily work with them by going the extra whenever needed.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

We do not charge any call out fee for clients requesting a site inspection prior to submitting a quote. We are bulk buyers of cleaning products, this means we get discounts on our purchases and this allows us to have some room for better pricing. This gives us an edge against our most immediate competitors.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Clients call or requesting a quote must provide the following crucial information for a more accurate quote: 1) Type of service required. 2) Name of the area or suburb where the job will be performed 3) Size of the premises 4) Description of the premises: number of rooms, type of flooring, number of levels (2 or 3 storey building)... 5) Scope of work 6) Estimated date of service E.g.: I have a double storey house in Sea Point that has just been renovated and it needs a post construction/renovation clean up. The size of the premises is 300sqm and floors are tiled throughout with multiple cupboards. We also have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a lounge and an entertainment room. This kind of description gives us a good idea on how to quote especially if a few photos of the site are also sent to us.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes, our business is insured with one of the majour Insurance companies in RSA. Our policy covers: - Work related injuries, - Third party liability and - Business owner liability.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

The first question to ask is to find out whether the cleaning service the client needs is provided by the company he/she is contacting. Are they experienced for the type of job in mind Is the price reasonable? Some fly by night cleaning services charge ridiculously low rates that do not even cover the minimum wage of their employees. In many of those cases, people coming to you are not even cleaners or simply come to work with bad moral and intentions.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

We have been around since 2010, have completed thousands of cleaning jobs across the Cape Metro and there is rarely any major development in the Cape where we have not been involved as a cleaning contractor. We have been part of the residential and office development boom in Century City, Waterfront (the Silos) and elsewhere in the north and southern suburbs.
