This arrangement suits many bookkeepers who prefer to work for a number of different clients and can arrange their working lives around family commitments. Such contract bookkeepers are very professional in their dealings with clients, although one must be aware that sometimes they may not be immediately available during periods when they are out of office during the preparation of annual accounts for another company, or may be away on leave.
