My passion for flooring started at the tender age of 10 years old. My Dad, who has been fitting carpets his entire life, sub contracted for OK Bazaars back in the day.
He had a fairly large working team, with guys from all over the Cape Flats who came to him to be taught the trade.
When things got hectic my dad roped us in after school to help out on the sites, in order for deadlines to be met. This is where it all started for me - "The Training Ground" It was very tough, but we learnt quickly .
After two years both myself and my brother were able to manage the guys onsite and do full installations without supervision. I also learnt to drive and got paid a wage at a very young age.
It is here that I was taught onsite management and how to work with people, a life lesson that formed the way I do business today.
Integrity, honour and hard work is what it came down to at the end of the day. My success is due to effort, persistence and the life lessons learnt and implemented .
My clients are not only business associates but they are also my friends, who have formed relationships with me over many years.
