No task is too big or too small as such we approach each project with a consultative mindset and the humility that puts you the customer at the center of everything we do.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Our primary focus is on Hardscaping, Hardscaping refers to the non-living elements in a landscape design, like driveways, patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens and entertainment areas , constructed from materials like stone, concrete, brick, or wood. It provides structure, functionality, and aesthetic appeal to outdoor spaces, contrasting with softscaping, which involves living elements like plants.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Plan Ahead and Get Multiple Quotes Don’t settle for the first estimate. Compare prices, services, and materials from at least 2–3 reputable paving companies to ensure you're getting a fair deal. Schedule Work in Off-Peak Seasons Spring and summer are peak times for paving. If possible, schedule your project in early spring or late autumn when demand is lower—contractors may offer better rates. Bundle Projects Together If you have multiple areas that need paving (like a driveway and walkway), doing them at once often reduces labor and equipment costs. Choose the Right Materials While tar is generally cheaper than concrete and quicker to install, it does however come with certain drawbacks do your research and understand these disadvantages and the long term impact pf the materials you chose. Maintain Your Pavement Regular maintenance like sealcoating, crack filling, and proper drainage can extend the life of your pavement and delay expensive repaving down the line. Ensure Good Drainage Poor drainage leads to water damage, potholes, and premature cracking. Investing in proper grading and drainage during installation saves big in future repairs. Prepare the Site Yourself (If Allowed) A prepared site may lower costs if the site is cleared or prepped before we arrive. Always confirm this with your us to avoid issues. Avoid Last-Minute Changes Change orders can quickly drive up costs. Finalize your design, material choice, and project scope before the work begins. Work with a Reputable Contractor A cheap, poorly done job will cost you more in repairs and rework. Choose a licensed, insured company like Wetstone Paving with strong reviews—you'll save in the long run. Ask About Financing or Payment Plans At Wetstone Paving we offer financing or seasonal discounts—ask upfront about payment flexibility or any ongoing promotions

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

1. What guarantees and compliances do you offer ? Why it matters: This protects you from liability and ensures the company meets legal and safety standards. 2. How many years of experience do you have in paving? Why it matters: More experience often means better quality, smoother processes, and fewer mistakes. 3. Can you provide references or examples of past projects? Why it matters: Seeing completed work and talking to past clients gives you confidence in their reliability and craftsmanship. 4. Do you offer a written contract and warranty? Why it matters: A written contract protects both parties and a warranty shows the company stands behind their work. 8. How do you handle drainage and water runoff? Why it matters: Improper drainage causes long-term damage. A good contractor will have a solid plan. 9. How do you manage unexpected problems or cost changes during the project? Why it matters: Transparency is key. You want a contractor who communicates clearly if plans need to change. 10. Do you subcontract the work or use your own crew? Why it matters: Subcontracting may affect quality control. Knowing who’s on-site matters.
