Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

We have 11 years and three generations of knowledge in LPGas appliance Repairs. We strongly believe in building relationships with our clients and we strive to offer an overall balance of the best possible service at the most affordable price.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

We are qualified through the Liquified Petroleum Gas Association of South Africa (LPGSA) and licence through the South African Qualifications and Certification Committee (SAQCC). SAQCC#5158

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Yes, domestic LPGas vapour installations is part of our daily offering however our forte is appliance repairs and servicing, we are also very proud to be the approved specialized LPG service partner for BSH Appliances (Bosch / Siemens / Gaggenau) for the Western Cape.

How do you normally charge for your service?

On installations we have itemized billing i.e, we charge fitting for fitting, per meter of piping per hour for labour etc. A deposit is required on all installations to secure the booking and then the balance is payable on completion prior to the issuing of the CoC (certificate of Compliance). For Service & repairs there is a standard call out fee within 30km of R650 which includes 30 min labour. Generally we can repair a minor problem within this time period, but should there be additional time required, we charge R500 per hour thereafter and any parts required will be quoted accordingly. The initial call out fee is payable upfront and must reflect in our bank account to secure the booking. Please note that we work with a flammable substance and it is extremely difficult to at times to keep to an exact time appointment as most of our calls we go in blind, but meaning we have no idea what to expect, but untill we get to the site. We can only leave a site once the gas line and appliance has passed our safety checks.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We are the last call you will need to make, we take pride in our work and the quality of work we offer is of superior standard. Because as previously mentioned we build relationships, it is very common for us to be on site for 4 hours and only charge for 3 for example, keeping us in line with affordability for thr client.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Be informative when describing the issue or layout if installation is required. 2. Take photos and or videos and send through to us. 3. Payment in full will also get you an additional discount. 4. For installations, don't try save money by drilling your own holes for example, most times they are too big or in the wrong place and it just costs you twice the money compared to just leaving it up to the pro's. 5. Clearing out cupboards around the working area and ensuring the appliance has been cleaned properly can also save you money because it is less time we shall spend on site. 6. Santa always loves a glass of milk and a cookie, being hospitable could always help us keep that pencil sharp. Nothing better than a lovely cup a tea and a cookie when on the road all day.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Service and repairs: 1. What problem are you experiencing, does the flame light up and then die when you release the knob or does it not light at all? 2. What level of urgency is your request. 3. What area are you situated. 4. Will someone be at the premises all day if not please provide contact details. 5. Please send through the appliance make and Model if there is a data plate or sticker att the back or beneath the appliance, the please send us a pic.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes, we offer 5 years on workmanship for installations 12 months on parts and fittings and 3 months on service and repairs.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Any question is acceptable there is no such thing as a stupid question, if you are unsure just ask.
