Light attracts insects and that in turn will attract things that eat insects - like spiders, geckos, rats and bats. 2. Try to keep the outside of your home free of plants and bushes. Branches right up against the walls of your house act as a highway for pests to enter your home. 3. Keep your lawn or garden beds thick and lush. It will automatically deter an ant problem. Ants thrive on dry sandy patchy soil, so keep that lawnmower set on a higher setting and fertilise your garden twice a year to keep ants away.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Location - which suburb are you in Type of Pest or a Description of the Pest if unidentified Description of the problem, or what you see - i.e. biting, itching, where on the body etc or something eating a hole in the bottom of a kitchen cupboard. If you send a photo, please include a size reference for us.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes, we are fully insured with public liability and work away cover. Certain jobs carry a full guarantee for example a complete termite treatment on a home or building can carry a 5 year written guarantee. The guarantee, and whether there is one or not, will depend on the nature and breeding cycle of the pest.
