Proactive Building submitted a quotation promptly and then completed the work in good time and at a very good standard, without overshooting the quoted price. They worked diligently and we are confident that we will be using their services again for jobs that are beyond our scope to handle ourselves. We are a CIPC registered company with CIDB credentials. We offer liability cover of up to R5 million. Our rates are competitive and negotiable. Our staff are all SA Citizens and we offer excellent customer support and advice obligation free.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We offer to supply and fix and have a program in place where a client can remunerate us over a period of up to six consecutive installments. However, we do require an initial payment before commencement of a project over the value of R3000. Payments can be done via EFT or speedpoint. No cash dealings.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We deal directly with the owners / directors of our suppliers to get the best prices to accomodate your financial budget, and we have a very narrow profit margin.

We offer 3 months written guarantee on all our work and defective installed products.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

We will collect and deliver free of charge any material below 1 ton and within a radius of 50km. You purchase and we will get it delivered to site. Our clients do not need to run around for different service providers nor do they have to search for material or anything to make their project successful. We dont promise...we walk the talk.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Very important. A site inspection and assessment are of utmost importan ce to any contractor to give you the best rate and not to over or under quote. For minor home improvements a daily works rate shall apply and in most cases do not require assessments but, all details must be supplied and these will be on the quote.
