Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in onsite site computer support , our technicians aim to get your business or home computers back up and working in the shortage possible time. We have a networking team that specialises in wireless and wired networking. We have also extended that out to CCTV where we now provide and install CCTV systems .

How do you normally charge for your service?

In-house R395-00 p/h Remote R395-00 p/h (First 10 minutes free) Onsite R460-00 p/h NO CALLOUT FEE within 15km's of our offices.* ( First hour billable , thereafter per half hour )

What makes your pricing competitive?

We offer a personalised service and price each repair as we would like to be priced. Our aim is keep our clients long term , "ripping" them off is not our policy.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Uptasker customers?

We do offer SLA's to companies , we have a reduced hourly rate and offer pro-active support rather than re-active. We do have weekly and monthly specials. These are listed on our Facebook page.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. If a machine is not powering up , check your DB board and also if the plug is switched on before bringing into our workshop. 2. If a machine gets into a "hung" state and does not respond, try a forced shut-down and then reboot. 3. Call our workshop and see if the problem can be resolved remotely before bringing in or getting a technician onsite.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

1. Is the issue hardware or software? 2. Have you had this problem before , is it ongoing? 3. If purchasing new hardware .What are you using it for and what are your requirements? We do not like to either over sell or under sell.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes we are insured. Our work is guaranteed and we will show what time period and terms on invoice.

1. How long have you been in business? 2. Do you have a support team ? You are not a one person operation. 3. Are you capable of doing the job right and do you have any references.

We have been in operation since 2000 and servicing both business and home users in the Hillcrest , Kloof and upper highway. We have a team of technicians ensuring that we can attend to your problems at all times. We have an in-house technician that is always available to assist.
