Kitchen Reality was founded nearly 30 years ago in August 1989 by Shaun and Viv Atkins. It has been run by our family for the entire period. We are based in Durban and have completed various projects as far afield as Cape Town, Johannesburg, Underberg, and Greytown although we concentrate on the greater Durban metropolis.
All our work is derived from word of mouth referrals and so we have not had to advertise for the past 15 years. Several of our clients return to us for repeat business and now we have several second generation clients as a result of us doing work for their parents.

We offer a turnkey option from stripping of old units and demolishing brickwork to allow for a new design, and plumbing, electrical and tiling. The stress of dealing with several contractors is taken away from the client who now only has to deal with one person.
