Cutting the wall and inserting the door. Cutting the wall and inserting the sliding aluminium window. Attending to cracks in and outside of the office wall. Scope of Work
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Cutting the wall and inserting the door:
• Cut a doorway in the existing wall to accommodate a wooden door (size: 875mm frame
Width and 2050 mm Length)
• Ensure the doorway is level, plump, and securely supported.
• Install the door frame, ensuring proper alignment and secure fixing.
• Seal all gaps and joints with appropriate sealants.
2. Cutting the wall and inserting the aluminium sliding window
• Cut and opening in the existing wall to accommodate a aluminium sliding window.
• Ensure the opening is level, plumb and securely supported.
• Install the window frame, ensuring proper alignment and secure fixing.
• Seal all gaps and joints with appropriate sealants.
3. Attending to cracks in and outside of the office wall:
• Inspect the office walls and identify all cracks and damaged areas.
• Clean and prepare the affected areas for repair.
• Fill the cracks with an appropriate sealant or filler.
• Apply a coat of paint or finish to match the surrounding areas.
4.Materials and workmanship
• Materials:
• Door frame shall be made of durable Wood material.
• Sealants and fillers shall be suitable for the task and compatible with the surrounding materials.
• Window frame shall be made of durable aluminium materials.
• Both Door and Aluminium window shall have Lanters
5.Workmanship:
1. All work shall be performed by skilled and experienced personnel
2. The contractor shall ensure that all work is done in a professional manner.
6. Safety Precautions
1. Safety equipment: The contractor shall provide and ensure the use of proper safety equipment
(eg Hard hats, safety glasses, gloves )
2.Debris Removal: The contractor shall remove all debris and waste materials from the site. Warranty and Liability: Warranty The contractor shall provide a 1 - 5 years on wooden door. And 5 - 10 years on Aluminium window, Labour and workman ship 1 - 2 years. Types of warranties
Material warranty: Covers defects in materials and manufacturing. Labor warranty: Covers defects in workmanship and installation. Performance warranty: covers the performance of the door and windows, including issues like air leaks or water leaks. Damage.
