Pumps & Boreholes Job - Pringle Bay, WC, 7196

I replace and old 0.75 kw water pump with a new 1.1 kw water pump connected to a 7m deep well by means of a 20mm black pipe. This well point supplies irrigation water to the garden. For some reason water is not being pulled from below despite nu.erous attempts after bleeding the pump. Not sure what else could be the problem other than the well being dry which could not be the case as there is water in the in the pipe.
