Job Offer: Part-Time Nanny Position

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and caring nanny to assist with the care of our daughter. The position will involve picking her up from daycare and spending one to two hours with her at home during weekdays (Monday to Friday). Additionally, we will require assistance on select weekends when work commitments arise. The ideal candidate should be kind, dependable, and able to adapt to our family’s needs. Key Responsibilities:
Weekdays:
Pick up our daughter from daycare every Monday to Friday at approximately 16:45. Provide care and supervision for 1 to 2 hours after pickup, until we are able to return. Ensure the child is comfortable, engaged, and safe during this time (activities may include playing, reading, light tutoring, etc.). Weekends (on request):
Availability on select weekends when additional help is needed for work commitments. Flexibility with hours for weekend care (advance notice will be provided). Requirements:
Must have prior experience in childcare, preferably with references. Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. Ability to engage with the child in a nurturing, age-appropriate manner. Ability to handle basic tasks related to child care (e.g., light snacks, ). Living close to Windermere is preferred to minimize transportation costs. Must be available for weekend work on occasion (with prior notice). Hours & Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 16:45 – 18:45 (1 to 2 hours daily). Weekend assistance will be required on an as-needed basis with prior notice. Compensation:
Hourly Rate: R50 to R90 per hour (negotiable based on experience). Payment Method: Paid monthly by EFT or as agreed.
