Details

15 in-wall light switches require a neutral wire to be dropped from the roof into the wall switch box and safely terminated for later installation of smart (light) switches (which require a neutral and live to operate). The neutral wire will draw minimal current (for the smart device), while the live wire will switch a light as normal, so presumably, the neutral wire can be a small gauge, lightweight wire. A certificate that the install complies with regulations will be required.
