Dog Training Job - Randburg, GP, 2194

We have a rescue border collie cross obtained from Paws are Us. She is 4.5years old and had been in a cage for about 2.5 years. The dog, Frisky, is very affectionate, is learning to walk well on a lead, and to mostly ignore other fenced in dogs in the neighborhood. She is given treats for good behaviour. We live in a home with ample garden for her to run around in and explore. She has accepted the house worker and now greets her with a tail wag (expecting a treat from her of course!)

The problem comes with walks at Emmarentia Dam. She is very aggressive toward other dogs and will usually try to attack them. She totally shuts out all commands from us. We have had her for about six weeks and love her dearly. This behaviour is however very stressful. We do not want her to be shut away but to learn how to be a more sociable dog. Is training available. We are pensioners and Frisky has truly been a blessing.
