I fetched a 6 month old puppy, when we got home he squeezed through my gate and ran away, after a 15 minute chase we eventually caught him in a neighbours property. He is now very anxious and let no one near him. He growls and is very fearful of me especially as i was the one who chased and caught him. He will get close to my wife but will not let her pet him or eat treats from her hand. He will however eat the treat from her knee. We cannot wash him as we cannot get close to him. I need to move him to my new home and will have to get a leash onto him in order to do this but i do not want him to be more fearful after this. I need advice as to how to get him past this fear and anxiety and also might need assistance in getting him from one home to the other which is only 600m apart.
