My laptop just froze 2 weeks back and I switched it off using the power button switched it back on after an hour then it didn't even show the HP logo just showed me a hard disk error 3f1 message with smart check passed and long/short dst warning. Booted into windows that night but failed again after a few hours. Bought a new hard drive it began showing me boot device not found 3f0 with no hard drive installed on hard disk check. Installed windows but kept taking us back to installation window. Reseated the drive after a few hours we were able to set up windows. Worked the whole night without issues switched it off to charge next day showed me the error 3f0 again. Tried it a few times but failed. But it was able to read my old drive without issues. After a few days it began working again but it would blue screen almost every hour sometime it wouldn't restart it would show me error 3f0 after loading to 100%. Changed the hard drive got anotherb1 things got worse. It would crash and not even load to 100% show me.the error message figure it could be windows reinstalled it and it worked but would also crash after a few hours till someday it just stopped booting up tried using command prompt to repair files but couldn't find the driver. Installed my old drive was able to read it installed windows on it even though it gave me issues but it ended up working was able.to install windows and set it up it only worked for less than 30min then it crashed did the same thing my laptop just stopped recognizing it till now
