We need a kitchen island that measures 2000mm in length, 750mm in width and 900mm in height. One side of the 2 meter length must have an overhang edge that will allow 3 people to sit and to dine. On the opposite side from the over hang three drawers would be ideal and a shelf underneath the drawers for storage. A finished butcher block top would also be ideal. The carcass could be made from solid wood but all types of wood should be considered for cost effectiveness.
