I purchased an Apple Mac mini with M2 chip 8 core CPU and 10 core GPU, 256GB recently but am trying to install a 500GB SSD external drive to operate it. I have followed the Apple site prompts but this is very much higher grade for me. I need someone who knows Apple to assist. Any help would be most appreciated.
