Sonita Graduated in 2010 with an International accreditation from City & Guilds of London. “Young Landscape Design Studio” was established in 2011. In 2012 she graduated as Top Student for Professional Garden Design & received a second International City & Guilds Certificate As a graduate of Lifestyle College Sonita boasts a range of qualifications; Interior Decorating, Draughting, Feng Shui Consulting and City and Guilds Landscape Design. She runs a successful Landscape Design company that has won many awards at garden shows. Awards range from Platinum to best on show for her unique designs. Passionate about marketing and branding Sonita has joined the Business Start-Up course allowing her to share her skills on using social media and the importance of branding for your business.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I particularly love converting small townhouse gardens. I am a brilliant designer, providing realistic expectations, from design, to budget, to implementation

Design is charged on size and complexity of the job

I have formed sound relationships with my suppliers and growers over the past 10 years, which allows me to provide excellent pricing to my clients

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Uptasker customers?

Should the client proceed with the installation through Yld, 50% of the design fee will be subtracted from the Installation cost

Know what your expected budget is and inform the landscape Designer, this saves on design cost Research, find a reputable designer, who's style you can relate to, be careful of companies who offer design for free. There is a reason they do not put value to their service Have a clear idea of the expected outcome, provide images of your dream garden, be realistic

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

- anticipated look - anticipated budget - children or animals - water wise and low maintenance
