Y2K Design Studio is the culmination of a dream by Mano Reddy. Reddy began his career as a freelance designer under Caversham Publishing and Braby’s, and managed two graphic studios, Brightest Africa and Vintria International Enterprises, before venturing into a partnership with Far Ocean Jetty Publishing in Cape Town.

Y2K was started in 1999 to fill a need for the smaller printers in Durban. The objective was to provide the same service as a fully fledged design house, but at a feasible rate for the smaller printing companies.

Now established in Durban as a small but reputable studio, Y2K is famous for its quality workmanship and impeccable quality.

Based on Durban’s Umbilo Road, the design team at Y2K are confident that no job is too little or too big. Thriving on challenges, the company are continually looking for ways to strengthen and develop business relationships thus consolidating their presence in the market place, they have an extensive network of printers that have been with them from the beginning of their journey.

With an-in-house journalist clients are assured the making of a quality publication. Y2K is responsible for the design and layout of several emerging publications; The Indian Edition,, Tamil Guardian, as well as Universitity publications Governmental Staff News Letters,Newspapers ,Magazines ,Signage. More recently the studio launched a community media project, The Cutting Edge.
