We offer once-off or recurring all inclusive packages:
Hot water bath with hypoallergenic shampoo, dry, brush/deshed, winter/summer or breed specific cuts, nail clipping, ear and eye cleaning, teethbrushing, anal glands and dip upon request.

We groom dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs and even pet dwarf goats.

Recurring packages result in up to 20% discount.

We only require water and power point. However do have a generator for loadshedding and can provide water if informed prior to booking.

We service Port Alfred, Seafield/Kleinemonde, Kenton-on-Sea, Bushman's, Boknes, Cannon Rocks, and only accessible areas in Bathurst (we can arrange same central location for residents in inaccessible areas).

We come to you, reduce stress to you and your beloved fur-babies and provide a professional and reliable service.

We are a mobile grooming service and come to you to groom your pets; providing a stress-free environment with competitive market-related prices. Our groomers are trained and use state-of-the-art equipment. Your pet will be washed in a hot water bath with hypoallergenic shampoo. Loadshedding? Not a problem. We have our own generators to ensure the water is warm. Our grooming packages are fully inclusive and we offer discounts for recurring clients and those with multiple pets.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Our groomers are fully trained by a renowned and seasoned groomer with over 30 years of experience at the Ultimate Pet Care Training Academy. In addition, the owner/director of UPC Port Alfred has 27 years of welfare experience in all species, which includes being a certified Animal Welfare Assistant with the SA Veterinary Council and Senior Inspector. Our groomer also has welfare experience.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We focus mainly on pet grooming, but also offer pet sitting, dog walking and online product sales.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Our grooming prices are determined by the pet’s size, breed, coat length and time spent on the grooming process. We categorise your pet in a grooming class as indicated on our website.

Our packages are fully inclusive and we offer discounted prices for recurring and multiple pet families.

Customers should look out for our specials run on social media from time to time. We also offer discounts to pensioners, those that refer 3 clients who sign up for recurring packages and members of the Kowie Canine Club and Wise Dog Training Academy.

1. Make sure your pets are groomed regularly, as heavily matted pets can result in a double charge. 2. Become a recurring client and you’ll receive discounted prices. 3. Ensure your pet visit a Vet annually for its vaccinations and is treated for internal and external parasites regularly to prevent any extra costs.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We require the client’s name, address, cell number, breed of pet, contact number and any special requirements or needs.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We do have liability insurance. We do offer refunds on a case-by-case basis.
