The Nanny Movement were born out of a deep passion for education and early childhood development. We acknowledge the fact that all parties present in a baby/toddler/child’s life need to be well informed and trained to reach the goal of a solid foundation in our children’s lives.
We aim to provide the highest level of continuing education to ladies who could not have formal tertiary education. We training and give professional development in both home-based and centre-based early childhood facilities.

The goal of Early Child Development (ECD) programs is to improve young children’s capacity to develop and learn, so we aim to bring these programs to them.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

.Hi, I am the brain behind the workshops, Evette van den Berg, I have a B.ed ECD & Foundation phase degree and did phycology 1 , 2 and 3 subject for non-degree purpose. I have 12 years of experience working closely with children in their early years & with their parents. The past 8 Years I have been working with nannies, perfecting the content of our workshops. I have the advantage of doing 1st hand research with moms that I had in my studio on a weekly basis, while running my mom & baby classes. There I sourced information about their needs regarding nanny care for their babies & children. An then the cherry on top would be the last 6 years of raising my own child. He has some special needs, so countless hours with different therapists learning about the finer detail of a developing brain( not in a typical way), and the importance of the emotional development of children. That gave me the ability to write and teach about the not so controversial side of a child's development. Mix all of that with a big heart, a love for giving and charity and woman empowerment….and VOILA….you have The Nanny Movement!
