The Green Zone was established in 2004 by school friends Stephen Hetherington and Van der Spuy Burger. When an opportunity presented to start their own business, they combined their qualifications in Landscape Technology & Small Business Management.

Over the years we have honed our craft in all aspects of the Landscaping field to enable us to design, install and maintain unique personalized gardens for our very satisfied clients. Our forged relationships with artisans, builders, suppliers and other experts in the green industry enable us to produce work at our natural best.

We specialize in landscape design, hard & soft landscape installation, project management and horticultural maintenance of various sized private, commercial and industrial gardens plus many additional functions like clean-ups, irrigation, greywater recycling, rainwater harvesting, water features and artificial lawn installations.

Developing ongoing relationships with our clients and their gardens is important to us. Our work adds value as we take great care in making sure we do any work properly – the first time – to the smallest detail, giving our clients peace of mind. (However nobody is perfect so we will always go back and fix a mistake).
