The Gourmet Chef is Cape Town’s top Catering company which was founded in 2006 by Executive Chef Mark Hoberman who decided to bring high end restaurant quality Gourmet cuisine to your event.
My philosophy is simple “Attention to taste and presentation created by using top quality ingredients, handcrafted and elegantly served by myself and our passionate team”
To achieve such high standards, we only cater one event a day, Mark and Sonje are personally at each event. Mark focuses on phenomenal food and Sonje on 5 Star coordination, set up and service. We create tailor made Menu’s for each event which include Canapes, plated Dinners, Tapas, Live Barbeque stations, interactive food bars, Weddings, Corporate events and many more.
Mark has designed a few of his popular Menu’s which are listed on our website, however after chatting to you, he will create a personalised Menu of your choice.
