How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Ensure the specifications are agreed and approved before signing of contract. 2. Discuss any issues around access and possible living arrangements during construction, that could be rectifies to avoid delays. 3. Try not to make any changes once contract begins, this will impact the contract value.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Generally we require approved building plans, to secure a price. Alternatively, if the works required is not required to have plans, basically know what finishes and spec you would like.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes we are and all our work comes with a 2 year workmanship guarantee, and new homes are covered by the NHBRC of which we are a member.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Amount of experience they have and ask for references. BUT always get more than one quote.
