Orbit Media + Design is the online presence of Jaco Potgieter, a freelance motion graphics artist and graphic designer.
As you might have noticed by now, I am a graphic designer and motion graphics artist. I live in sunny Port Elizabeth, South Africa with my beautiful wife and two little ones.
I started my career as a graphic designer, but soon fell in love with so many of the other avenues the creative world offers, including motion graphics.
After completing my studies at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town with a degree in graphic design, I honed my skills at a top advertising agency for a few years, before deciding to move on to new challenges which would eventually lead me to the world of freelancing.
Things I love: my wife, kids, dogs, sport, bands you’ve never heard of, good and honest design, Nolan and Tarintino movies, the ocean, 80’s cartoons and coffee.
