In 2007, Old School Handyman was founded by two partners in Rustenburg, originally operating under a different name. Martin Swart worked as the Operations Manager at this company.
In 2014, Martin relocated to Gauteng, and immediately noticed the need for quality contractors with old school standards of quality and productivity. Martin decided to start with smaller projects to fill the gap in the Pretoria market, and quickly started building a reputation in the region.
For the first couple of years, Martin operated under his own name, but eventually decided to take the business to the next level and consequently launched the Old School Handyman brand.
Old School Handyman is built on old school rules and values. We believe in delivering quality work with dedication, completing projects on time, and doing it right the first time.
Our team is committed to excellence, and most team members have been with the company for at least 4 years.
