Feb 24, 2022Make sure they explain their billing to you in writing. They required a R250 per item evaluation fee. If they could not repair an item I would forfeit this fee. They could only repair the one item and sent me a quote which I accepted. When I went to collect I was informed that I owed them R690 plus the R500 evaluation fee. Every other company I have ever dealt with offsets the evaluation fee as part payment if you accept to repair. In stating the total cost of repair as R690 and making no mention of forfeiting the R250 evaluation fee when requesting authority to proceed borders on dishonesty.
