McAllisters Coffee Bar opened in the Durban CBD in 1996. The small coffee shop wooed clients, using only the freshest ingredients. Serving excellent home-style meals, snacks and refreshments, with an eye, even then, on what the clients wanted, Greg and Carol McAllister had a humble beginning, with no limit to future growth. With hard work and perseverance, McAllisters Coffee Bar served customers until larger premises were required. Customised floor space was sought and the team moved to the current location in Stamford Hill.
