Khewija is a LEVEL 2 B-BBEE certified Recognition company with 90% Black Ownership and 42% Black Women Ownership. Our main business focus are: Technology development, Studies, Conceptual Designs, Front-End Engineering Designs, Detailed Design, Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPC & EPCM), Start-up support, maintenance and operations. May 2, 2024Johan Gouws joined Khewija in October 2021, tasked with crucial responsibilities like audit preparation and department establishment. Despite his efforts, he faced repeated salary delays and unmet promises from management, notably Themba Mabuza and Jesper Larsen. Despite assurances of pending payments, Johan's salary remained unpaid, exacerbating his stress, later compounded by a diagnosis of lupus. Tragically, Johan passed away on March 5, 2023, without receiving owed compensation or condolences from Khewija's management.
