We have an in-hoise certified coffee roaster and over a decade worth of industry experience.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
We roast and blend our own coffee, this allows us the opportunity to help our customers realise their coffee personality; taking them on a coffee journey that will leave their tastebuds screaming for more.
How do you normally charge for your service?
Our services are personalised. We do not have a 'normal' charge. We understand that different organisations and events have different needs.
What makes your pricing competitive?
We have the capacity of a large coffee roastery and the flexibility of a medium-sized organisation. This always us to create tailor-made prices.
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Uptasker customers?
We offer a 10% discount to all our Uptasker customers!
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
1. They can give us a list of exactly what they need and when they will need it 2. Time a minimum period of 1 week before the event takes place. This will allow us to source other products that we do not produce internally (such as cups and sugars) 3. Give us an estimate of how many people they need us to cater for (this allows us to prevent unnecessary spendings)
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
We simply need the number of people that we will be catering for and for how long they will need our services. We handle the rest (such as quantity of coffee needed) based on our vast experience.
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
We are an insured business and our work is guaranteed. We offer our services to well-known and trusted organisations (including your local favourite coffee shop).
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
They should ask if the company has provided their services for the event or organisation of their size. They should also find out if free delivery is included (and yes, we do offer free deliver to surrounding areas).
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
Ground One Coffee has over a decade's worth of industry experience. We are a 100% young, black-owned business. A 1/3 of our management team is female-led. We a 100% youth-led organisation. our team is made up of individuals with a vast a knowledge and keep wanting or more. WE know what we are doing and proud of our journey. This is only the beginning
