Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We do total Function planning and setup, Decor, Flowers, Table settings, Seating Charts, Cakes, Invites, Photos, and Music. Full Menus available. Buffets, Braais, Spit Braais, Potjiekos, Platters, Cakes, Plated Menus, High Teas, and Breakfast, we can also assist with function Decor, crockery, and Cutlery. We do Kids' parties, Bachelorette and Bachelor parties, and Sunday Lunch on your premises.

How do you normally charge for your service?

A 50% Deposit is required to book our services and to book your function date, Remainder of the quote is to be paid 1 week in advance of the function date.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We do not load our prizes with High % Markups, and no hidden costs or fees will ever be added to the agreed total between the Client and FAB consultant.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Uptasker customers?

A 5% discount will be added to all Uptasker Customers when Quote is excepted.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Always make sure that when a Quote for your function is received that all menus, equipment, and service fees - service staff cost are stipulated. 2. Ask for alternative menu types. Any menu can be changed to suit the customer's needs. 3. Remember to always use a Caterer that can guarantee their service and Quality.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

1. Date of Function 2. Type of Function 3. Venue setting- Garden, Hall, Tent, Lapa, top of a Mountain, Park, Patio, Board Room, Office any area that is out of the norm. 4. Total Guests 5. Food Allergies or requirements, Vegan, Halal, Nut, or Shellfish Allergies. 6. Time of Function. 7. Area of function. Where function will be held. 8. What will be needed for the function, Food, Equipment, Flowers, Decor, Transport, Photos, Music, Waiters, Cleaning Staff, and Serving Staff. What time function will end - as we need to arrange transport if needed for the staff.

Yes, we are insured up to R20,000.00 and our work is guaranteed.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

1. Is the Caterer capable to supply the need of the Customer? Food, Beverage, Staff, Equipment. 2. Is the Caterer clean and professional? 3. Does the Caterer understand what is requested and needed for the function? 4. Is the cost of the function kept to a minimum without compromising the quality of food and services?
