Express Signs was started in the late 60’s as a company that made and delivered number plates to the motorcar dealers in North End Port Elizabeth. We used our vacuum forming machine to make a sign, particularly offering a cheap alternative to headstones for the poor. From there we moved to basic information signs. In the mid 70’s computers and vinyl cutters changed the way signs were manufactured.and the results were only limited by ones imagination.
Today we have a large format digital printer as well as vinyl cutters which allow us to work with spot colour or full colour graphics. We are capable of producing anything from a small lable to a bill board. We are very active in the health and safety aspect of signage and a large portion of our client base is in manufacturing and civil contracting. We have however not forgotton our roots and still manufacture number plates as well as offering a service for licencing and renewels.
It does not end there though, we have also produced a wide variety signage and branding and if we cannot produce it inhouse we have an extensive network of specialist manufacturers throughout the country we can call on at competitive prices.
We pride ourselves in offering a good quality product at an exceptional price with a fast turn around.
Our team is exceptionaly stable with some of the staff having been with us for over 15 years. This has allowed the team to form a good bond with great training and skills.
