She has held numerous positions beginning with babysitting and moving through to becoming a Preschool teacher. You can say she has worn many different hats: Au Pair, Home school tutor, Nanny, Preschool teacher & Care giver, coming up with unique ways of helping the families and children she worked with move towards reaching their goals. At Clementines we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing exceptional Au Pair & Nanny placement service and peace of mind to both the families and Au Pairs or Nannies who put their confidence in us through our expertise and knowledge of children and the industry. How do you normally charge for your service?

AU PAIR PLACEMENT FEES: We do require a registration and administration fee of R200 to start the process of sourcing the right candidate for your family. Permanent or full time Au pair – 40 hours or more per week- R50 to R80 per hour depending on experience. Once off placement fee of 8% of au pair annual salary. Minimum fee R3500 Part time Au pair – 30 hours or less per week – R50 to R80 per hour depending on experience. Once off placement fee of 10% of au pair annual salary Minimum fee R2500 Temporary Au pair – less than 3 Months – R50 to R80 per hour depending on experience. Once off placement fee of 12% of the au pairs annual salary. Minimum fee R2000 NANNY REGISTRATION AND PLACEMENT FEES: We do require a registration and administration fee of R300 to start the process of sourcing the right candidate for your family and Once you have chosen a candidate, we charge a once off Placement Fee of R900 which includes all the criminal checks. DOMESTIC WORKER REGISTRATION & PLACEMENT FEES: We do require a registration fee of R300 to start the process of sourcing the right candidate for your family and once you have chosen a candidate, we charge a once off Placement Fee of R500. *We do offer a 90 day/3 months replacement period, if things do not work out with the chosen candidate at no additional cost.

Our nanny training courses are intensive, practical and take place over one day. The nanny training course focuses on the 6 common core skills, communicating with children, young people, their parents and carers, child and young person development, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the child, supporting transitions, multi-agency working, sharing information, knowing your rights and responsibilities and professional development.
