Frequently Asked Questions

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

With more than 40 years experience in the building industry, in the fields of; Site Manager for LTA Construction, Architectural Designer on numerous residential homes, Building Inspector and Plan Scrutinizer for Randburg Town Council, Architectural Technologist for Househam, Henderson, Moteane Architects on the Lesotho Highlands Water Scheme and now registered and carrying the International Certification for Home Inspectors and Indoor Air Quality Consultants, makes me qualified in a broad spectrum of the building industry to assist the property owner. This sets me aside from my competitors.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Broad and total property inspections on residential and commercial properties, with main focus on Building Code Violations and Expert Witnessing.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Services are charged on a square meterage rate, or hourly rate, dependent on the type of inspection requested. We have a written contractual agreement which is entered into by all parties privy to the inspection. This written contractual agreement creates peace of mind and suretyship for our clients and us. We generate official quotations and invoices for our clients. Fees and services may be discussed and agreed upon, prior to signing of agreements. Fees are calculated on a fixed scale, dependent on nature of inspection required, and as per our Company fees structure

What makes your pricing competitive?

Our pricing structure is market related, but the quality of service we render, accompanied by the detailed written report presented, using state of the art equipment and software, as well as the informative discussions we have with our client pertaining to our post inspection and analyses, makes our fees more competitive. We are bound by our International Accreditation and Certification through InterNACHI®, their Standards of Practice (SOP) and Code of Ethics (COE). We are also bound by SACAP' Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, which makes our pricing twice as competitive as our opposition, due to the high level of expertise we bring to our clients.
