The Algoa Bay club was established in 1984 and is affiliated to the German Shepherd Dog Federation of South Africa.
The objectives are:
Provide facilities for training of German Shepherd Dogs.
Hold Breed Shows, Breed Surveys and Training events.
Provide information on breeding, rearing and training of German Shepherd Dogs.
Encourage the exchange of mutual experience among members, fostering friendly relations between members and building a good club spirit.
Promote the German Shepherd Dog.
