Printing Job - Vredehoek, WC, 8001

Hi there! I was wondering if I could get a quote from you guys for an on-going job... A friend of mine and I run an embroidery business, called Thread. We need to print normal A4 pages on normal white printer paper for the instruction booklet, which we then put together using a paper fastener/ split pin. The instruction booklet is all in colour, and it's about 7 pages altogether. Then we print the illustration of the pattern on slightly thicker card, and that's only one copy which stands alone. Then for the wrapping of the box we print a square colour label on card and we can fit two of these onto an A4 page, and a thin wrapper that goes all the way around- but we fit about 6 on an A1 page and only use 1 per box. Lastly, for each embroidery kit we print a bobbin, which we print in black and white on brown card and we can fit 4 on an A4 page. So to summarise, per box we need:
- 7 colour pages printed on normal white printer paper (A4)
- 1 colour page printed on thicker white card (A4)
- 1 colour page printed on thicker white card (A4) - 1 page does 2 boxes
- 1 black and white thin wrapper (A1) - 1 page does 6 boxes
- 1 black and white print on brown card (A4) – 1 page does 4 boxes

All of this costs us R80 per box, which is a huge cost when our end product only sells for R395, so we really need to cut this printing cost down. Currently we get it all done at Wizardz in town. This is our current set up and we really like how it looks, but we are also open to cheaper/ easier ways of doing things. If you have any suggestions such as printing it all in an actual booklet, or a way for the label to all be in one, or something similar- please tell us! We’d love to hear ideas on how to save.
